MBRP S6134AL Installer Series 5 Inch Diesel Exhaust Systems

MBRP S6134AL Installer Series 5 Inch Diesel Exhaust Systems
(6.7L Cummins Diesel, 5" DPF Back) Built for the (10 and up) Dodge Ram 3500... The MBRPinc 5" system starts off with a high flow 4" turbo down pipe leading directly into the largest possible mid pipe that can fit onto the truck without major surgery. For some truck models, 4" mid pipes are the max size that can be fitted in, but rest assured we increase the tubing size as quickly as we can to get the system up to the huge 5" tubing leading into the muffler for max flow. Speaking of the muffler, our MBRPinc muffler uses only a full 5" core design, not the 4" or a 4 1/2" core found in 5" exhaust systems being sold by the other guys. Each muffler is fully "packed" with MBRP's long lasting, road-proven internal muffler wrap to give that deep low exhaust note that they have become famous for. These systems are manufactured using heavy gauge aluminized tubing. All bends are full mandrel bent for the very highest exhaust flow available. Each system comes complete and ready to install, including all tubes, clamps and hangers. Easy to read instructions will help walk you through the complete exhaust install.

Car Pollution and Global Warming - Effects of Car Exhaust on the Environment

Car Pollution and Global Warming - Effects of Car Exhaust on the Environment

Exhaust System

Although emissions from an individual car are generally low, relative to the smoke many people associate with air pollution, economies of scale make the personal automobile the single, greatest polluter in big cities due to millions of vehicles being added on the road. Each time we drive we engage in probably the most "polluting" activity of the day.

Emissions produced by vehicles have significant effects on our health as well as the environment, namely, the ozone. Although our car produces several types of pollutants, the following are amongst the most potent:

Hydrocarbons: These are known to cause liver damage and even cancer in humans. They are also a major contributor of smog in urban setting. Motor vehicles produce hydrocarbons as a result of unburned or partially burned fuel. Carbon monoxide: This is the stuff that kills you when you fall asleep in the garage with a running car engine. A product of incomplete combustion, carbon monoxide has nothing to do with the smoky colour and smell that comes out of the tail pipe: carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless and tasteless gas which is lighter than air. Carbon monoxide reduces the blood's ability to carry oxygen; overexposure as you know may be fatal. Nitrogen Oxide: This pollutant destroys our bodies' capacity to resist infections of the respiratory system. In cars, nitrogen oxide is a result of a reaction of nitrogen from the air and oxygen at the high temperature and pressure that occurs during combustion. Particulates: This is the visible smoke or soot that we see coming out of the exhaust pipe and it is made up of very minute particles. Like smoking, this causes respiratory health effects in humans and affect animals, too. Sulphur oxides: These are emitted from motor vehicles burning fuel containing a high concentration of sulphur. Exposure to sulfur dioxide affects the lungs and, at high levels, may result in burning of the nose and throat, breathing difficulties as well as severe airway obstructions. Carbon Dioxide: Although it is a product of "perfect" combustion and does not directly impair human health, it is a "greenhouse gas" that traps the earth's heat and contributes to the potential for global warming.

Although advances in engine and vehicle technology have seen a major reduction on motor vehicle emissions but the sheer numbers of vehicles on the road is arresting this progress. It is therefore imperative for each person to do what they can to further reduce, if not eliminate, motor vehicle pollution altogether, Here are a few things you could do to save the earth:

Consider a green car or, at least, an environmentally friendly car for your next car purchase. This could be a hybrid vehicle or any car that is specifically designed to reduce exhaust emission. Depending on pricing, electric cars will be the best option when they go into production in a few years' time, since they produce zero emissions. Switch to clean fuels or biofuel - fuels derived from plant and biomass. Where available, low-sulphur diesel is also a good, green option. Consider adding engine cleaning additives, like EnviroTabs, on your next fuel purchase. Also known as car vitamins, these are added to your tank each time you fill up and they clean the carbon residue in your engine resulting in high reduction of tail pipe emissions as well as more mileage per gallon/liter due to the resultant engine efficiency. You can also sell these products to your friends and other people and make money for yourself!

Truck Performance 101 - A Beginner's Guide

Truck Performance 101 - A Beginner's Guide

Exhaust System

Today, the aftermarket gives truck owners more performance options than ever before. However, all the new truck performance products and gizmos can be a little hard to sort through. What you need for your specific truck's performance will depend on what type of truck you have and what you use it for.

What is performance? Basically, it is the word used to describe speed, fuel consumption rate and towing ability. Performance is primarily measured in terms of horsepower (HP) and Torque.

Horsepower, or HP, is by definition, the power of an engine in comparison to horses. For example, a truck with 100 horsepower is as fast as 100 horses all rolled into one. Horsepower is often indicative of a truck's top speed. Horsepower does not necessarily mean that a truck is fast from a standing start (see torque) but instead it is often indicative of the speed attainable by a particular truck. This being said other factors such as weight and grade will impact the final speed achieved. In more scientific terms, HP is the common measurement when rating an engine's power. One horsepower equals 500 ft-lbs. per second, which is basically the power needed to lift 550 pounds one foot off the ground in exactly one second or the power needed to lift 33,000 pounds one foot off the ground in exactly one minute.

Torque refers to a truck's ability to generate pick up. Torque is one of the most important factors at the beginning of any non-rolling start. It is the ability of the truck to send power to the wheels and turn them - moving the entire truck forward. The dictionary defines it as: "The moment of a force; the measure of a force's tendency to produce torsion and rotation about an axis...". The most important thing to remember is that torque is what gets the truck rolling and is very important in towing.

The basics of performance, of course, center on your engine. Think of your engine as basically a big air pump. It breathes air in through the air intake and breathes it out through the exhaust. The easier your engine can breathe the more performance it will deliver. The stock engine you received from the factory comes with OEM air induction and exhaust. Modifying these two areas is relatively easy and can deliver significant increases in both HP and torque. One other primary factor affecting your performance is the engines computer. The stock OEM computer your truck came with is set to a "safe mode" to protect the truck against virtually any driver error...e.g., redlining. Although these settings are meant to protect the truck, they can impede performance significantly. Tweaking your truck's computer can significantly increase HP and torque while still providing safety to the engine. We'll look at each of these three performance enhancements below.

Air Intake

The air intake primarily consists of your vehicle's air filter. Stock air filters are made of pleated paper. The problem with pleated paper is it often tends to become clogged which greatly reduces the airflow. Fragments of paper are ingested or sucked into the intake system creating a hole for gritty contaminants to enter the engine. In addition, these filters have to be replaced often to maintain a basic level of performance. Aftermarket filters are made of cotton gauze or engineered foam. These filters, made by companies like K&N, Airaid, Green Filter and True Flow significantly increase the flow of air through the filter. In addition, these filters defend against dirt at twice the rate or more than their paper counterparts and most come with a lifetime warranty...that's one filter for the life of your vehicle. Installation of these filters is super easy...just replace your existing factory air filter.

The second factor effecting air intake is the temperature of the air coming into the engine. You've probably noticed that your truck runs better on cold days. That is because the air is denser and denser air allows more combustion when mixed with fuel and ignited. Stronger combustion means more power to move your piston in the cylinder. Aftermarket companies...many of the same mentioned above...have developed systems called "Cold Air Intakes", that move the point of air intake from the top of your engine, which is normally very hot, to a point outside the engine. The result is that the air being sucked into your engine is much cooler than it would be using the normal air filter location. Cold air intakes require a little more handyman skills that just replacing a filter. However, they can be installed easily by anyone that has basic tools.

Exhaust Systems

Exhaust is the "exhale" to your engines lungs. The more twists and turns in the exhaust, the less your vehicle can breathe easily. Exhaust systems come with three primary elements...the muffler, exhaust pipes and muffler tips. The first two are the main ingredients that effect HP and torque. OEM factory exhausts are well made, but not designed to deliver maximum performance. Aftermarket systems from companies like Magnaflow, Banks and Gibson are engineered specifically for each truck and are designed to get the most out of your vehicle. In addition to more power, these systems also deliver an enviable "roar" that will let others know you have tricked out your truck. I do not recommend installing an exhaust system unless you are a true gear head and are prepared for cutting and welding. Although most muffler shops do not carry these products, they will be glad to install them for you.

Computer Chips and Programmers

Your truck's computer is technically referred to by gear heads as the Engine Control Unit (ECU). The ECU that controls the engine is very complicated. OEM's program them to satisfy emissions requirements, meet EPA fuel economy requirements and protect the engine against abuse. The computer does this by controlling many aspects of the vehicles performance, but primarily controls the ignition, fuel injection and spark time. As mentioned above, the OEM's set the default value of the ECU to an "ultra-safe" mode to insure adherence to government guidelines and to protect the engine from abusive driving. Aftermarket companies like Hypertech, Edge, Unichip and Superchips manufacturer chips and programmers that will either plug into your ECU or programmers that will alter the factory settings. Chip manufacturers set the products for each specific vehicle to a default performance setting. Programmer manufacturers allow more versatility in that they allow custom modifications to compensate for other performance add-ons like cold air kits and exhaust systems. These systems are relatively easy to install by anyone that has a little mechanical knowledge.

In conclusion, you can significantly increase your HP and Speed by just making these basic changes to your truck. Some all-in-one kits can deliver up to a 40% increase in overall performance. Finally, contrary to rumor, none of these products will void the warranty of your truck. There is a federal law called the "Magnuson Moss Warranty Act" that prevents automobile manufacturers from voiding warranties from the addition of aftermarket products. These are just a few of the many performance products available from the aftermarket. I will be covering more advanced performance products, like superchargers, in a subsequent article.

Stereo System Upgrades For Cars and Trucks

Stereo System Upgrades For Cars and Trucks

Exhaust System

Most people want to personalize their ride with stereo upgrades and the latest bling items. In this article we will discuss the latest options for upgrading your vehicle's sound system. The first thing to start off with is deciding where to put all the components. Many people will want the CD changer out of view. Simple sheet metal brackets can be made to mount it inside a console below the surface to where the console lid clears the unit and goes undetected from any one's view. The head unit with AM FM tuner can be installed behind the glove box lid using 20 gauge metal and bent to hold the unit which is standard size with a built in bracket system. To hide a sub woofer there are many places.

A good location is behind the rear seat up against the package tray where there is ample room to upgrade to a much larger speaker. A paper board mockup will allow you to know how big of an enclosure to purchase at your local supplier. Be sure the minimum air space required was met while holding it all in place. All major speakers MFG list their minimum air space requirements for any given speaker. You may have to modify the back of the rear seat a bit to allow the sub clearance and removing a wire or two will not make much difference in supporting your back. Another place is where you rest your feet in the front seat. The kick panels are an excellent place for the front speakers. You can angle them to still allow good foot room while the sound waves hit the opposite side passenger directly for optimum sound. When installing sound systems we always look for what the vehicle will offer for locations that allow different alternatives such as places to hide speakers and different sound box sizes depending on ones desires.

If you're looking for first row, front seat sound then a mid range front floor speaker where the floor is cut out to house 8 inch Dyn-Audio mid range speakers is the ticket. Pointing them directly at the front seat passenger's ear for max sound is the only way because they are directional speakers. Right under the dash is a great place to install Image Dynamic Horn speakers for highs/tweeters that offer super crisp vocals and the lead guitars will come to life. In effect it will sound like an entire band is sitting on the hood of the car with unreal clarity and 0 distortion detected by any humans ear. When building hi-level systems such as this high power is needed so the front speakers would be powered by a JL 450/4v2 amp for max output with 1 gauge power leads and crossovers with separate equalization installed. For subwoofers you need a lot of power such as 2-1000 watt JL amps to provide power for a qty of 6 -10 inch W6 JL drivers in the trunk. Image Dynamics EQ will allow complete adjusting to the system.

Installing an EPICENTER by Audio Control is a nice component that allows you to bring out more bass in older music then it originally had. It features A Dial Rotation. Your fuse block needs to be upgraded when you go this route to massive 1-0 wires and relays to keep everything powered up safely. Hiding wiring where carpet can cover over them and away from heat sources like exhaust systems is very important and a door step plate channel is an excellent way to run the wires front to back. We like Optima batteries to power everything as they are gel and have no acid residue. Yellow Red and or Blue top are built for marine use for extra reserve capacity. Keep in mind that you may have to upgrade the amps in your alternator and these are available at most auto parts stores. XM satellite radio is another nice touch. On projects where other components are taking up space you have to improvise.

To build a custom Sub Box take MDF Wood and cut out 6 MDF rings on a router to accept JL W6 speakers. Then mount/glue them in the right matching angles and you are then ready to start covering them. We take fleece and cover them tight using a staple gun then they are wrapped and ready for some fiberglass resin work. Mix up and coat them with resin saturating all materials to get a strong first layer to support thicker matting later.

You can then use a porter cable tool and buzz out the speaker sections. The next step is to tape it off to get ready for the outer cover. Wrap it much in the same way but use polyester cloth and tape the edges around the cars trunk perimeter. Then trim it out much in the same way and also cut out a shaped hole in the back section to allow the sound to come toward the front of the car, The trunk hinges get a U pad treatment that stays with the hinge and fits with a small gap when up, just behind it you can add a trim piece to finish it out.You will then want to sand it down and apply some hi build primer and you are almost done. Simply mount the speakers with T-nuts that have teeth which pull in to the MDF wood when tightened.

2010 Camaro Magnaflow Exhaust

2010 Camaro Magnaflow Exhaust

Exhaust System

Magnaflow performance exhaust is a leading manufacturer of automotive aftermarket exhaust components. Magnaflow Performance Exhaust systems got its start as an extension of Car Sound Exhaust Systems that specializes in performance catalytic converter technology. 25 years later brings us to now and Magnaflow is a leader in the industry world wide. Each of their new products is personally evaluated by Jerry Paolone and tested by the whole team of designers and engineers. They take them out and field test them to make sure that they perform to the highest expectations. One of the latest projects has been the work that they have done for the 2010 Camaro.

The first thing that should be noticed with a Magnaflow Exhaust for a Camaro is the sheer beauty of the pipes, mufflers and the tips. All of their pipes are polished to a mirror finish that shines like the top of the Chrysler building; I think that is how the analogy goes. The pipes are made up of 100% stainless steel so that they will not rust. Of course the pipes underneath won't go as noticed but the tips will no doubt glimmer for all to see. Just taking the Magnaflow Exhaust system for the 2010 Camaro out of the box is impressive.

Once the Magnaflow Exhaust system is installed the real fun begins. From the moment the key is turned on in the ignition to the time the throttle is pushed down is a sweet sound but once the petal is to the metal is transforms into a gorgeous sound. If the look of the Magnaflow exhaust doesn't get the attention it deserves then the sound will definitely pull it in.

By having a Magnaflow Exhaust put into a 2010 Camaro there will be several different areas of improvement. The first was the sound. The second is the increase in power. And Third is the increase in gas mileage. If driven conservatively up to three mile per gallon can be achieved. So over time it will essentially pay for itself. Don't get me wrong, I know that most muscle car owners could care less about the fuel economy they are getting. I'm more the weekend warrior type that uses it as my commuter car on the week days and my fun car on the weekends. All the money I save on gas goes towards other upgrades for my muscle car.

Now back to one of the main benefits of this upgrade. The Power! One of the best benefits of the Magnaflow Exhaust system for the 2010 Camaro is the extra power that it will draw add. Magnaflow definitely adds enough power to pass the "seat of your pants test". The way that the Magnaflow Exhaust can increase the power is by more efficiently moving the exhaust gasses out of the engine. Less back pressure on the engine means that the engine doesn't have to use power to push the gasses out, and you end up getting more power to the ground.

We all live in a day that making something better than it was is quickly becoming king and the Magnaflow Company has been improving the efficiency of exhaust systems for over 25 years now. Magnaflow is committed to putting out the best product available and will always be looking for new technology to stay at the top of this ever so fun market of performance. Better gas mileage, more horse power, more torque and a sound like no other.

The Exhaust Manifold: Essential For Your Diesel Performance

The Exhaust Manifold: Essential For Your Diesel Performance

Exhaust System

Multi-piece exhaust manifolds are one of the essential elements required for any high performance application on a Dodge Cummins truck. For most diesel truck enthusiast one of the coolest things about owning such an amazing machine is the ability to turn the power way up. However, as with everything in life the bad comes with the good. More power means more heat, more heat means possible damage to the diesel engine.

Adding a high performance turbocharger ("turbo") is a common method of effectively increasing the performance of a diesel engine. Basically, a turbo is a pump that compresses air then forces it into the engine. This increase in air pressure injects more fuel and air into the engine cylinders. The increase of fuel and air produces more power, but this compressing the air also increases its temperature. The extreme increase in temperature leads to numerous problems.

It is common for stock one-piece manifolds to be the first to fall victim of the increased temperatures. Exhaust Manifolds funnel exhaust gas from the engine into the turbo's turbine, which rotates a fan on a shaft and powers the compressor. In such a situation exhaust manifolds are directly exposed to extreme engine heat. Stock manifolds are known to shrink significantly, causing manifold-cracking, gasket problems, and exhaust flow problems created by exhaust port misalignment.

The best way to prevent damaging a manifold or remedy damaged stock exhaust manifolds is to replace them with a high performance two-piece manifold. Such manifolds, are designed to eliminate the dreaded manifold shrinkage. Quality, two-piece manifolds are produced by a number of companies for the 3rd generation Dodge Cummins. The Diesel Power Source two-piece manifold is both a great performance manifold and a stock replacement manifold. It is forged from Moly-Bendum Ductile (which can handle extreme heat) with a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) Tested, high flow engineered design that assists in quicker turbo spool-up, and increases exhaust gas efficiency. The multi-piece design eliminates warping and cracking to the manifold, that is expected to occur on all single-piece exhaust manifolds. Furthermore, quality two-piece exhaust manifolds have improved air flow allowing better fuel efficiency and increasing overall horsepower and torque.

All quality brands of two-piece manifolds will be CFD designed and flow tested and balanced for increased balanced exhaust flow, while maintaining velocity for increased turbo spool up. Include block gaskets, and two bolts. They will also have drilled/tapped for pyrometer and pressure fitting, both 1/4" NPT and 1/8" NPT. Manifolds should be made from Moly-Bendum Ductile, have a black high temperature coating, always come pressed together, pressure tested and ready to install.

In conclusion, because stock one-piece exhaust manifolds will warp, shrink, and crack due to high temperatures, it is highly recommended to install two-piece exhaust manifolds. Doing so will allow you to take full advantage of your Cummins engine's awesome power and eliminate unnecessary damage.

Save Money on Truck Maintenance With Automated Lubrication Systems!

Save Money on Truck Maintenance With Automated Lubrication Systems!

Exhaust System

It is always a wise decision to install an automated lubrication system in your fleet of trucks in order to prolong their component life and actually help cut down your maintenance costs over time. Owners can breathe more easily knowing that their trucks' components are being greased regularly rather than relying on methods such as point-by-point manual lubrication which is frequently overlooked by operators of the vehicles.

A manual greasing technique requires operators to stop their truck, shut it down and then a mechanic must climb onto/into the truck in order to access the bearings and apply the lubricant by hand. As a result, operators will incur the following results from using a conventional method: increased costs resulting from the fleet's downtime; possibly inadvertently overlooking scheduled maintenance; and increased risk for accidents and injuries that can occur while the vehicle is being serviced.

Using an automated lubrication system would be much more effective. Following is information about this operation and the possible benefits to be gained from their usage.

System Function

Generally, using this procedure replaces and eliminates the inconvenience of applying lubricant to the truck bearings and bushings. The procedure has two key functions: First, it does not require the truck to be stopped and shut down, since it is done while the vehicle is in motion; secondly, with this procedure, the greasing maintenance interval will be eliminated. The operators now only have a maintenance interval for the re-filling of the pump reservoir, which fortunately only needs to be done on an occasional basis.

System Installation

This installation is done in a shop qualified to perform such work. All of the procedural components undergo a quality control check and are guaranteed to be repairable and replaceable. The system can be installed on either used or newly acquired equipment. To ensure the proper operation of it, installation should only be performed by those who have extensive experience in this type of work to ensure that only the right components, up-to-date system design and proper routing of lube-lines will be used on the fleet of vehicles.

System Benefits

The automated lubrication system is one of the best types of preventive maintenance to use, since this type of procedure will significantly reduce a fleet's downtime and repair costs. Most fleet owners and operators have taken advantage of using this system as a means of preventive maintenance. When comparing this procedure to the manual lubrication application process, the following list shows some of the benefits that this process can provide for a business:

· Typically in the manual application, trucks get greased before or after their operation and the procedure/application would take a minimum of an hour. A fleet with an automated lubrication system is being greased even while it is in operation. Technically speaking, this could increase daily production by an hour, thus reducing overall labor hours.

· Using this method, a fleet is being provided with frequent applications that are consistent and use the precise amount of lubricant. This keeps the bearings coated and protected and can prolong the lifespan of the fleet. It also may keep the bearings free from contaminants. This would not be possible with a manual procedure. Bearings that are greased manually may receive large amounts of lubricant all at one time which then dissipates during usage of the vehicle, causing a high risk for contamination as well as allowing the bearings to wear out prematurely.

· There will be a lower consumption of lubricant because this procedure continuously applies only a small amount of it for each cycle, depending upon what is specified by the manufacturer.

· During the manual method, there is a possibility that the maintenance technician will skip over hard-to-reach points. There is a high risk of accidents when climbing and crawling to those hard-to-reach points. With an automated lubrication system, this scenario is eliminated which also eliminates that particular risk.

Getting the best from an automated lubrication system for a fleet of trucks will allow an owner to be on top of company business performance. This plan could be the answer to reducing maintenance costs while allowing an owner to enjoy the benefits of a well-maintained fleet of vehicles - what a benefit that would be!

Choosing a Custom Exhaust System for Your Full Size Dodge, Chevy or Ford Truck

Choosing a Custom Exhaust System for Your Full Size Dodge, Chevy or Ford Truck

Exhaust System

Let's face it adding a custom exhaust to your truck not only gives your truck a nice sound but also improves performance and gas mileage. However a brand that sounds great on one truck may not sound as good on another. Today we are going to look at the big 3 full size trucks with some pointers on choosing a custom exhaust for each.

Ford will be the first truck we will look at today starting with the ½ ton F-150. The F-150 top pick will be the Flowmaster system. The Flowmaster cat back exhaust tends to give the F-150 the best send with either the 4.6 or the 5.4 liter motor. The next pick would be Magnaflow. Now for a Superduty the same 2 exhausts seem to be the best pick for the 5.4. On the larger motors stick with the Magnaflow to maintain the deep sound. If your budget does not allow for either of these exhaust systems then a Gibson system will still give a nice sound. If you own a diesel then check out the Banks systems.

Chevy is our next truck to look at. Unlike the Ford Chevy trucks do not sound as good with the Flowmaster. The best pick for the Chevy (both ½ and ¾ ton) is by far the Borla cat back exhaust system. Borla is kind of pricey but really makes a Chevy sound great. One characteristic of a Borla system is at idle it is hard to tell that you have a custom system; however once you hit the gas and open it up the sound is unbelievable. Much research is put into Borla and the exhaust system seems to be the perfect match for a Chevy truck. If you cannot afford a Borla system then the next bet would be Flowtech followed by Gibson. If you own a diesel truck then check out Banks.

Dodge is our final truck to talk about. A Dodge seems to do well with a Flowmaster system, however most systems do sound good on a Dodge. Our research has shown that none of the exhaust systems really stand out as a definite leader when it comes to a Dodge truck so for that matter the sky is the limit and your best bet is to get to the various manufacturers sites and listen to sound bites to find the sound you like. Again for a diesel truck I would check out Banks.

So there you have it. This has been our experience with different people running different trucks and what their experience has been. This also comes from the talk coming from a variety of truck shows across the country. Your best bet is to go with what you feel comfortable with and keep in mind any system is going to improve your trucks sound and performance and really wake your truck up.

How To Run My Car On Water - 5 Facts On Water For Gas DIY Hydrogen Generator System

How To Run My Car On Water - 5 Facts On Water For Gas DIY Hydrogen Generator System

Exhaust System

If you are still stuck with high cost of gas at the pump, you need to look at this water 4 gas Do It Yourself engine system. This is basically a system that uses hydrogen and oxygen from water to increase your engine MPG, increase efficiency, reduce yearly cost of fuel, lower harmful gas emissions, reduce carbon deposits on your engine, reduce noise level from your engine and increase your car's lifespan.

Increasing your car's Miles per Gallon of Gas (MPG): Fact # 1

DIY water for gas system uses the hidden enormous energy in water by releasing Hydrogen and Oxygen gases using a simple water jar through which a DC current from your ignition flows. The simple device that you can assemble in your car garage with an illustrated manual only produces hydrogen gas when you switch on your car.

This hydrogen on demand ensures that you don't store any flammable hydrogen under your car hood. It called the principal of hydrogen on demand, and it's the safest way to handle hydrogen so far.

The hydrogen and Oxygen mixture expands more than 18,000 times more than the ordinary gasoline vapor. This means the gases will be occupying more space in your car engine combustion chamber at any one time. The result is that far less volume of gasoline is burnt. Hydrogen and oxygen releases more than 20 times more energy than gasoline.

Due to the less amount of gasoline being combusted inside the engine, this translates to using less gas for the same mileage. A full tank will easily give you double the mileage you are used to in your car. Road tests have achieved 50% increase in mpg on a heavy 350 V8 van, 56% on a Ford truck, 107% on my Toyota Corolla, 285% on a Chevy 4WD pickup.

Reducing harmful car emissions: Fact # 2

The simple system will eventually reduce harmful emissions from your car's engine which means less contamination for you and your family. Combustion of H and O gases produces only water as the gases are recombined to a more stable state. Since the gases form the bulk of the combustion material in the engine, the result is that less carbon deposits and CO2 is produced as exhaust gases.

This will contribute immensely to a greener environment. If this technology would be taken up by more and more people, you can see the effect in reducing CO2 gas in the atmosphere and hence global warming.

Increasing your car's Lifespan: Fact # 3

By supplementing gasoline with water gas (browns gas), less carbon deposits will be produced in your car's combustion chamber. Carbon produced inside an engines car not only reduces its efficiency in complete combustion of gasoline but also accumulates to accelerate your engine's and car's wear and tear.

With the brown's gas supplementing gasoline, less and less amounts of carbon will be deposited in your engine. Over a period of two to three years, your car's engine will still be as good as new.

Reduces your weekly gas costs: Fact # 4

One of the most significant advantages of using browns gases from water to run your car is that you will greatly make savings on the cost of gas. The fact that you are burning less gas for the same mileage you used to cover before installing the system means you will use less money at the gas pump.

People that have installed this simple device under their car's hoods have recorded savings of up to $ 200-0 every week. This means making savings on gas costs in the tune of over ,000 in a single year. Imagine how much such savings would help you improve on your credit rating and be able to change your cars within the first year. This is like music to most people's ears when in addition they get to reduce emissions, lengthen their car lifespan and save on engine repair costs.

Reduce Your Engine's Temperature, Smoother and Calmer Engine and Gear Shifts: Fact # 5

The use of hydrogen and oxygen from water in your car's engine will automatically lead to a smoother and calmer engine. These gases burnt efficiently reducing the engine vibrations and knock effect produced by the inefficient combustion of gasoline. Your gears will even shift more easily.

This in fact will greatly reduce the wear and tear of your car due to fewer vibrations to the mainframe. Lowering your engine's temperature also has a similar effect in that it prevents your engine from wearing out fast.

This simple do it yourself device will also turn you into an instant guru and your neighbors will knock over themselves trying to get your secret water jar system installed in their own cars. Some people have even made this a business opportunity charging a small fee to install or simply instruct others on how to reduce their gas costs especially now when it's going to 4 dollars a litre.

The good part is that you will instantly download a fully illustrated manual on how to install the system. The manual is so detailed and gives a step by step guide of how to install the water gas converter device, that even a cave girl could do it.

The manual is available a digital file that you can download online in 3 minutes flat and print it out for easier use. You will wish you got this information three years ago if you start seeing the insane savings on fuel from today.

Venting Your Portable Air Conditioner

Venting Your Portable Air Conditioner

Exhaust System

Why and How Portable Air Conditioners Should Be Vented

The issue of venting a Portable Air Conditioner is an issue which is as essential as using the device in the first place. It is essential because Portable Air Conditioning Units extract hot air from a room and in order for a room to be cooled rather effectively, you need an outlet for this hot air to the exterior - this is where venting comes in. Usually when you buy such air conditioners, they come with venting kits at no extra cost to you at all. You may opt to hire a professional to fit your Portable Air Conditioner unit with a venting kit but that would be a waste of funds as they are rather easy to install provided you follow the instructions to the letter.

Portable Air Conditioners are not meant for permanent use so the issue of their venting does not require you making any substantial adjustments to your home or office. Your Portable Air Conditioning Unit may be easily vented through a window or wall, as soon as the unit has been positioned in a location which you deem preferable, you can place the exhaust hose through the opening and towards the exterior in order to vent the hot air outside. For the venting of such units through windows, Plexiglas may be used but certain manufacturers may provide alternate materials depending on their own preferences.

Installation of the venting kit should not take place while the Portable Air Conditioner is in operation. If you need to test your installation, make sure you do so after completing the job and not during the process. The steps for installation are rather simple:

o Choose the location for the vent.

o Place an exhaust connector over the discharge opening at the back of your unit.

o Connect the exhaust hose provided to your exhaust connector.

o Adjust the length of your window kit to fit the opening properly.

o Use the venting window kit adapter in order to make the necessary connection to the window kit.

o Place the window venting kit in the window and connect the exhaust hose to the window kit adapter.

These are all the steps which are required, and as clearly evident, it isn't as difficult as installing similar mechanisms for a Window Air Conditioner or a Split Unit Air Conditioner.
